Fabspeed Chevrolet Corvette C8 Stingray / E-Ray Header Blankets (2020+)
Protect your C8 Corvette engine bay from the extreme heat generated by aftermarket headers with Fabspeed’s Military-Spec Header Blankets.
The factory C8 headers use heat shielding to protect nearby components. Many aftermarket headers eliminate this protection, leaving fuel lines, electronics, plastics, and other heat-sensitive components exposed to increased radiant heat.
Extreme Heat Protection
These header blankets are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 2,200°F.
They provide a dedicated thermal barrier around the headers to help control radiant heat throughout the engine bay.
Unlike traditional header wrap, the blankets are designed to avoid trapping moisture while providing greater heat control than ceramic coating alone.
Military-Spec Construction
Built using:
321 stainless steel netting
Ceramic fiber insulation
Kevlar jackets
321 stainless steel springs
This heavy-duty construction is designed for the extreme temperatures found around high-performance exhaust systems.
Key Features

Why You Need This
The C8’s mid-engine layout places several heat-sensitive components extremely close to the exhaust headers.
GM equips the factory headers with heat shielding for this reason.
When aftermarket headers are installed without adequate shielding, fuel lines, electronics, plastics, and surrounding components can experience substantially more radiant heat and repeated heat cycling.
These blankets surround the headers with a thermal barrier capable of handling temperatures up to 2,200°F, helping keep that heat contained instead of allowing it to radiate throughout the engine bay.
If you're installing aftermarket headers on your C8, proper heat management is an important upgrade for protecting the components surrounding them.
